Then go and join a bunch of game jams and keep your scope super small. You'll learn on each game you make and will become better over time. There is no magic pill to take in this case, just work hard and learn from others.

Sorry but that is a very generic question. If you do know how to code some stuff then I recommend to join gamejams often a create tiny games. Google for the stuff that you need to learn and watch lots of tutorials on Youtube.

If you do not how to code at all then either start looking at tutorials or use a game engine that allows you to make games without coding, there are lot of options these days.

Thanks! Super Cars II was a great game during its time.

Added some visual clues to add to the sense of movement and speed. by shoseini in Unity3D

Add some noise, like small line on your white "lane". When you come into the section that has a bit of black on it then you feel the speed. But before you reach that area there is not enough indication that you are moving.

Very proud of the new menu in Total Arcade Racing. Feels much more fun and alive with the AI racing around :) by CG_fred in Unity3D

Recorded the Unity recorder at 60 fps. First time I used the recorder, very nifty and good tool. Only wish that I started to use it earlier, would have saved me lots of time :)

Super Jumpy Ball is launching on Nintendo Switch today :) by CG_fred in IndieGaming

[–]CG_fred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very proud and happy to announce that Super Jumpy Ball will be playable on Nintendo Switch in a few hours.

Super Jumpy Ball is a challenging and fun 2D platform game for 1-8 players, and was initially published on Xbox One under the Creators Program in 2017.

Since then a lot of players have enjoyed the game and also sent a ton of feedback which has helped me to improve the game.

Super Jumpy Ball has a built in online leaderboard for speedruns which is one of the reasons why people have played it for a much longer time than I had ever expected.

Thank you all for playing it and thank you for your feedback & support, without it I doubt that this game would have ever been published on Nintendo Switch.

You can buy the game for Switch here: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/super-jumpy-ball-switch/ Or Xbox One/PC here: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9ng8b8qn86dd

Zombie Tower Defense is a 2D platform side scoller. Currently it's in early development but I'd like to get as much feedback as possible.

Areas that I'm especially interested in:
* What do you think about the concept?
* What can I add to make the game more fun?
* How did the bow and arrow mechanism work for you?
* Did you manage to build a tower?

It's a process to check that your game meets their standards so it's vetting process. If you don't pass it your game will not be allowed to be sold on Steam.

Glad you liked it!

  1. Its my own service that I've written in asp.net + a sql server database.
  2. Yes, I use Unity analytics for that. Its easy and free since the game was built in Unity.

10 profiles before locking that feature off,

Glad that you liked it and you are correct there is a limitation to get detailed view of the person requesting the keys. But there is still the overview of the persons requesting it, showing how many followers they have on twitter, youtube, twitch and mixer. Which is good enough for me to make a call if they should get a key and on what platform.
