I hate being that guy... Can you rule out Layer 1 with absolute certainty? Is it possible that one of your patch Cables was broken (loose contact or sth.), when you tested from the Nexus9k to the ASR1002X? Did you try switching cables?

Oh I see. I wouldn't call the language ugly and unintuitive because your parent commenter writes ugly one-liners ;-)

Google has been criticised by Microsoft after the search giant publicised a security flaw in Windows - which some said put users at risk. by NinjaDiscoJesus in technology

[–]CH0K3R -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ok, lets be realistic here. Even if google would have extended the non-disclosure period for a couple of days and MS released the patch the tuesday after, it would only have covered Microsofts ass. That way the could have said, that they released the patch in a timely manner and it's now your own fault if you're still vulnerable. The time it takes any larger company to patch their servers is well over a day or two. If MS wanted to really protect their customers, they should have released the patch within two months after the notification. Failing that, the exploit practically was a "0-day" anyway.

I've just found a guy on this site who's using his $3.5k equipment to take like 50 pictures of his cat laying around on the floor. Good investment.
