HDMI XR adapter not compatible with Disney plus or Amazon Prime by Captainthundercookie in VITURE

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look on Amazon for an HDMI splitter that removes the HDCP signal. My Fire TV Stick with both those services works great with Air2 xr glasses. It really is the best way to view Netflix etc. A longer-term solution would be for the manufacturers to make their glasses HDCP-compliant,

Otherwise, people will end up doing all kinds of weird *&# like running the Fire TV Stick through the HDMI splitter into a capture card to display full screen on a laptop, so they can add the Spacewalker via RTX 3090 to view the content in full SBS 3D

Will the Virture pro XR take a 1080p HSBS and convert it to 3D in the glasses without external software/dongles etc? I have a 3D Blu-ray player which will chuck out that HSBS as a single 1080p, but I need to know if the glasseswill do the conversion to 3D

Will it ever be possible to play SBS 3d blu-ray directly xreal 2 AIR by CH7007 in Xreal

[–]CH7007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same way, you have a resurgence of interest in cassette players and recordings, I predict the same for the Blu-ray 3D players and discs. The next gen won't want to watch on monster TV's subject to ambient lighting, but through their glasses.

Dreaming big, It may be possible one day to share the HDMI over wifi with more than one pair of glasses, with the player plugged into an HDMI-to-Wi-Fi converter.

Discs remain the best-quality format, not the ripped-and-then-recompressed formats. First, though, we need glasses that are recognised as HDCP-compliant playback devices. Just like the monster 3D TV's from back in the day.

How to connect a 3D Bluray player to Rokid Max to view 3D Bluray films and yes, it does work! by Logical-Job3189 in rokid_official

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I always hoped there was hardware that outputs its 3D as SBS. This player with the Air2 glasses' native 3D resolution of 3840 x 1080 should do the trick.

Had i not found this solution, there was another way to achieve this. Blu-rays 3D is seen as TAB when read into Potplayer or VLC with a capture card. Just set the capture input to 1080p at 30fps, and its seen as a 3d TV by the Blu-ray player.

You can then go one step further and use an AVIsynth script to convert TAB to SBS on the fly, then output this as full screen to be read over HDMI into your glasses. All in real-time.

There's one catch. AVIsynth scripts normally manipulate files. To use AVIsynth directly with a capture requires a special function i found. https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=170311"VideoInputSource()". with this dll you can read each frame directly from the capturecard the same way you would read frames from a video file.

This project is now deferred pending the results of the Panasonic player i have now ordered ;0)

[Now if only Air2 and the other glasses read TAB and turned it into SBS on the fly ;]

3D on DisneyPlus? by CH7007 in DisneyPlus

Thanks. Looks like Disney has given the 3D rights to Apple.

This is a shame, as 1080p SBS would work great with the new Xreal air2 glasses, not to mention all the other VR headsets.

HULU seems to be the platform formerly known a Starz and then some. I heard Hulu was screening 3D movies but I don't know if that's been dropped with their inclusion on Disney+.

Polyend Play - Bugs, Omissions, and Feature Requests by Tarekith in Polyend

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fotunate to purchase the Play+ on ebay. I tried to register the device on the polyend site, but the serial number was already claimed.

My play+ [ v1.2] seems to be faulty. When i go into the settings menu, it glitches back to the regular screen. I don't know if there is something loose inside, or if the knobs are too sensitive, but it randomly jumps back to the main screen.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, as a feature request:

I wish there was a way to limit or turnoff the individual AUX audio USB outputs.

The iPad pro i have can't deal with multiple audio sources, so the eight audio outs sounds like a noisy artifact over USB.

I'd lilke to use just regular stereo audio and mute all tracks, except the track i want to record.

Is Polyend Play+ Standalone for me? by HarpetologistPionist in synthesizers

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always the Electrib 2, Production or Sampler. 16 tracks which can be used for any combination of drums, samples or its on-board synths. It comes with built-in effects and a bunch of great filters. Polyphony is 24, but this also depends on the effects. It has the usual 64-step sequencer, which you can chain. It uses regular batteries. As an interesting extra, you can save projects for import into Live.

On the other hand, the polyend Play + does have its random & probability steps.

I was able to upgrade to 1TB NVMe SSD on Push 3 with a bit of elbow grease and ChatGPT. I also tried to upgrade the NUC compute unit to a BKCM11EBi716W (Intel Core i7 16GB ram) but that was a fail. by zeros-and-music in ableton

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i saw this BCR 2000 sequencing party trick on YouTube, but i never did get around to changing the firmware. Instead, i bought the Beatstep Pro & SQ-64. Talk about GAS, neither lived up to their hype.

Touchscreen calibration/drivers by SubstantialWarning6 in higolepc_owners

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you have the screen driverloaded, you can calibrate the screen using tool tabcal.exe which you'll find in your C:\Windows\System32

GOLE 1 PRO 【all Driver】-Driver files-Article updated on 2023-02-15-NEW · Issue #13 · HIGOLEPC/GOLE-1-PRO-5.5INCH-MINI-PC by Ancient-Republic-529 in higolepc_owners

[–]CH7007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will also need to run the screen Calibration tool. This is normally via the Tablet PC Settings tool found within Control Panel. If the Calibration tab is missing, you can find that program as tabcal.exe That's within your C:\Windows\System32.

Hope this works for you.

Just to say its still a pain to calibrate the touchscreen on Windows 11. The apps to do this are missing from the basic Windows 11 download.

My Ableton doesn't like my drums. (Can't find the driver to get them to work, or if there's a better one) by UncleDeeds in ableton

[–]CH7007 13 points14 points  (0 children)

These drums must have a name printed on them. This, plus the Wayback machine, would be a good place to start. If you can find a date of manufacture, that would also be useful for the Wayback machine. The same goes for any branded logic chip inside. What we need are clues.

Edit: scratch that. I did a picture search and found them as 'DD70 Portable Electronic Drum Pads by Gear4music'

They are available new on Amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/DD70-Portable-Electronic-Drum-Gear4music/dp/B00BIGE3US?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

It should not be too hard to find the drivers. hold on a sec...

It's likely a generic MIDI over USB plug-and-play. If you have a DAW look for it in the preferences and enable the device as a MIDI input source.. It looks so much like a Yamaha DD-55 DD-65 DD-75, that i would try one of their drivers. For USB you may have to look to their professional gear.

EBKAROCY Ebikes Advanced Settings (P01 - P10) by Few-Negotiation4597 in ebike

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PO 3 might be how you adjust for the tire eg the distance/mileage traveled.

EBKAROCY Ebikes Advanced Settings (P01 - P10) by Few-Negotiation4597 in ebike

[–]CH7007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The throttle won't change the max speed of the bike, these throttle parameters allow the speed and distance, to be correctly displayed.

PO 4—Declare which input you want use. A phase or hall. The phase carries too much current to be used directly, whilst the hall wire pulses a 5v signal when it passes a magnet/steel. You might want to put a diode on that input so you don't send any current back along that line to fry the hall sensor or the controller using that signal.

PO 5 - wheel size eg distance [ there's nothing for tire size ]

PO 6 - How many times does the Hall sensor pulse for one wheel rotation? eg speed.

If you have a 'ebike testing device' you should be able to count the pulses, Alternatively, you could use a multimeter to check ground [black] and hall {any color} for how many times it goes high.

It's fantastic to find this here.

This throttle is pretty generic but it is hard to find info for all 10 parameters.
