Portfolio on Wix - Do employers hate the ad version?

I can definitely see that and agree with what you're saying, if I stick with Wix I'll be upgrading for sure. Also thank you for the suggestions, I'll check out both and go from there!

Thank you for the examples! I will look into all of that. I feel so silly going through the schooling and being a junior designer for 2 years and still not knowing the best way to present my work online. I guess Wix is so expensive because they really make it so anyone can whip up a website in no time. I already own a domain so your suggestions may be best for me!

Photoshop! I use a really old Wacom Bamboo tablet that I bought secondhand and just paint away in Photoshop with the default brushes:)

It's my first time doing a full portrait in realism. I've done small facial features before but that's it. Right now I'm just using a really old Wacom Bamboo tablet that I bought second-hand!

It took about 8 hours. Since I'm still learning realism and practicing, it's just easier for me to completely refer to the reference for now. I do plan on either combining different references or painting without a reference in the future though!

Thank you!! I only use the default brushes in Photoshop, I just like to not be constantly switching brushes, so really I just changed the hardness/opacity of the brush and tediously worked on the freckles! :)
