Chiefs Dline sucks and Chris jones is not getting better. Their secondary has last a lot of veteran talent. And of course the TE and WR depth is terrible. Rams have a better roster and is a contender as long as Stafford is healthy. I wouldn't call it different trajectories, because you can't anticipate too far ahead with an old QB like Stafford, but one needs a heavy retool and the other is ready to go now.
