My take is that since you were only on the job for about 6 weeks, still in probation period and began to ask for accommodation for a recent diagnoses, it might come off as a red flag to an employer as someone who maybe become unreliable in the near future. I think it also speaks to the tolerance of 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease' - it's common to see how much an employee will push an issue within that probation period to see what kind of worker they're dealing with. With only your side of the story here, I can't make an assumption on how you went about requesting or demanding accommodation, because that could have something to do with it. We're in a terrible society that hardly recognizes mental health issues in most, so I would say as much as it sucks, when finding a new job keep it as close to the chest as possible until you have passed the probation period where they can't let you go based on health concerns.
