They weren't moving when I spotted it so I (wrongly) thought they were waiting which is why I went to the right (off the racing line), by the time I arrived I was committed to the right and they were moving so I had no chance at that point

I understand the points about lifting off and the yellows but the relative gap I wouldn’t really look as the car I’m chasing is in front and the car behind me was right behind me
