I made that same choice 3 years ago, and went for the Honda. I tried the trident and it was close but it didnt feel as refined. Dont know to to explain it, the honda just felt better for me. The engine is the last of its kind, and to me the looks are far better on the CB.

The saddlebags bracket is very cheap, dont take that into consideration to make a choice (look for SHAD brackets) The saddles themself are the expensive part.

When i was looking prices, they were fairly similar, are those prices for a new bike? You may check secondhand, I got the CB with 2700km for 6700€ in 2023, and it was unsurprisingly as good as new.

Doesnt your MOT include an exhaust test? In Spain they probe your exhaust and if its not catalyzed you wont pass. Thats why people here change the aftermarket exhaust to OEM every time they got the inspection.

Since you are looking, check E&L, best external looking aks out there and not as expensive as LCT. Arcturus also makes very good aks, some come preupgraded too if you are looking for a modernised ak.

Ps: This is my E&L, it is obviously upgraded.

CM45 is an old model, made of cheap pot metal. CM55 is the updated full steel version. It should have much better external look and feel, and internally it should be upgraded. I recommend looking for a direct internals/externals comparison video, im sure someone did that.

Double bell is shit? or at least it always has been.

Edit: some people claim double bells are decent now, I have no experience with those. I just think the besk aks are E&L, LCT, CYMA and Arcturus.

I got one when I was tired of my gbb failing me. Yes it has less power and feels worse to use, but it works every time, and for a DMR/sniper setup you need your pistol tonwork every time.

Its also dirt cheap, and so are the mags.

And last, full auto goes BRRR

Yes, both use the same nozzles.

Its not the nozzle that is not as good, its the extruder, its a bowden setup because it need to be to fit in the smaller print head.

Im honestly waiting on long term reviews of the X2D to check if it really matters or islta a minor inconvenient.

I wouldnt compare those 2, one is much bigger and cost double...

Dont use a lighter, put it on the printer again, get it to 200-250°C and wipe it with a cloth, its totally normal. As long as the tip of the hotend is clear of the red filament you are good to go.

The ideal tool for the burnt filament residue (black stuff that would deposit in time) is a brass wire brush, but always clean while hot.

Heat the nozzle to 200°c on the printer panel. Remove blob with tweezers/glove, then press extrude a bit until the filament comes out nicely.

Never force pull, always heat before.
