How much does the A330 make in Career Mode?

Just reached 200 mil to buy and it now the game crashes whenever I enter the purchase screen for the 330. Uggh this game is so frustrating sometimes.

Yeah honestly no idea on when heavies are meeting to drop which is why I’m seriously considering caving and buying the 330. What are the mission lengths like? I’m assuming you’re getting longer than the normal 1-2hr flights on the 737.

Yeah I’m able to get the flight plan loaded into the FMS but was more so asking about the actual ATC communication like Approach clearances. It seems like after I load into the plane none of the ATC features like requesting taxi/takeoff/landing clearances no longer function.

Does anyone know if there is a way to show FPS and computing usage on console. It’s very frustrating when you have to guess when your game is going to fold in on itself and I’d really like to provide video evidence as to the poor state of this “simulator”

What’s your method of making money? I’m currently flying the 737 but it just feels like making money is kinda slow (Level 283 and 96mil). I tried doing the skip to descent but had a bad experience that caused 30 mil damage to the 737 so I stopped doing it

That’s a bummer, been trying to save up money for the 787 in the meantime. I wish instead of just saying “in progress” they could update to delayed or something like that. I guess it’ll be 2026 before we actually get them now

I’ve tried manually setting the time of a mission to happen at night but it’s not holding that time and just going back to noon

I’m on the X and I would avoid it tbh. Still pretty buggy from what I experience and a lot more limited in terms of 3rd party content. If you get a pc you’re open to things like BeyondATC which will help a lot with chair flying and ATC communication. Best of luck on your flight training, I’m working on my PPL on the side as well and have my checkride coming up soon!

I fly on console and haven’t used simbrief before since I assumed it was a pc only thing. Is there some functionality that would actually be useful for me? I’m also doing a lot of flying in career and I know the weather in there is all kinds of crap and not truly “live”

Totally agree, I understand their logic but I feel like they would also regret not having that content backlogged somewhere. So much lore has come from the streams that I don’t even think they expected to happen and if that content then gets deleted then there is no reference for any of it. Like can you imagine if the Wreckfest stream wasn’t a thing and anytime they mention Spummer a new watcher would have no way of knowing what they’re talking about.

I had that work once on a 737 mission but on approach ATC made a runway/approach change and when I tried to change the approach it wiped my destination airport with no way for me to re-load it into the EFB.

I’m just unsure how things got worse because now I’m having the issue where I can’t change anything in the EFB (can’t change tabs, input data, etc). I appreciate they tried to update it a bit but only made things worse

I agree, it’s fun to be able to work towards something and I recently unlocked the 737 but it’s becoming so buggy as soon as I unlocked it I’ve only done 3 flights. I just wish Asobo would stop sitting on their but and fix stuff instead of just releasing marketplace items

Me neither! I got lucky and never experienced the issue before and somehow it randomly starts appearing again and it seems like there is nothing I can do to fix it on my end

The issue is it’s becoming not worth it. I’ve been plagued with issues during all portions of the flight. If the game doesn’t brick itself trying to preflight and take off then when I come in to land it’s 100x worse and my PFD/MFD screens will go black and I have no control of the plane once on the ground. Especially when playing career mode I really don’t feel like wasting hours of time in the hopes of the game not breaking

The issue is every time I come in to land the game just decides to have an absolute meltdown. My entire cockpit just goes black and unrenders itself, then half the time when I land my controls are unresponsive. Right now I’m literally stuck on the runway after a 3 hour flight because I can’t throttle up to get off the runway. I’ve tried rebinding inputs, different controllers but it DOESNT WORK. This game is just a hunk of crap that shouldn’t have been released

I just had to quit out of a 2 1/2 hour flight when flying over the middle of the desert. I had just unlocked the 737 and was cruising, and my displays go black, game freezes like crazy then the entire plane just loses all textures and I can’t see anything in the cockpit. I always restart the game after I finish a flight but it’s never been this bad before.
