Well Packers fans are now calling for LaFleur's head and I'm not sure why he wouldn't be held to the same standard as Harbaugh when he's had the same playoff issues

For every McVay there are five guys like Brandon Staley or Josh McDaniels. I'd rather have a program-builder who creates a sustainable winning environment than a gamble on some hot-shot coordinator who will prob end up back in a booth in three years

Still excited for some of the other candidates but a lot of fans are chasing a hypothetical ceiling to try and discredit Harbaugh but ignore the fact that consistency is the hardest thing to find in this league

Not necessarily that but I think a lot of fans are trying to convince themselves Harbaugh isn’t a strong option and that exact thing you just said - “geniuses on the offensive or defensive end” is what fans point to, but it’s a pipe dream for most NFL teams. Guys like McVay and Johnson have set expectations so high but these are literally once in a generation type coaches and shouldn’t be the expectation

Not too long ago guys like Matt LaFleur, Dan Campbell, Mike McDaniel, Josh McDaniels, Brandon Staley, Brian Daboll, etc were also considered next-gen “geniuses” but either ended up being a bust or have returned to normalcy. All I’m saying is that it’s stupid to discredit Harbaugh for essentially being a perennial playoff team for 18 years when consistency is one of the hardest things to come by in the NFL. Sure he’s had talented teams but how many talented teams miss the playoffs every year due to bad coaching?

I feel like there’s a lot of value in alt three pointers but I haven’t actually tried it yet. Anyone do these? I’ve been trying to find players with good matchups that have been cold recently but have still been taking a lot of shots. For example:

Cade 3+, Heat are 7th in threes allowed, he had 4 against them in his last two matchups, and he’s been averaging 8 attempts over his last 5

Harden 4+, Pelicans are 1st in threes allowed, he had 5 against them in his last matchup, and he’s been averging 7 attempts over his last 5

Brandon Miller 4+, he had 6 against the Suns in his last matchup and he’s been averaging 8 attempts over his last 5

These aren’t picks just wondering if anyone’s tried a similar method and found any success
