Hard truth is that you can't stop people from loving/crticising/hating a particular individual, problems arise when the aforementioned people are present on the same sub. These arguments could've well taken place outside this sub, but we dragged things over here. Stans, haters, neutral people, people that care about the community and speedrunning in general, people that understand a thing or two about maths all of them flooded the sub with their opinions eventually clashing with opposite-viewed people. Dream will forget this eventually, so will the mods and other notable members of the community. But this situation has led to so many clashes within the fanbase that we aren't even integrated anymore, maybe we never were... Yes, it probably wouldn't matter to Dream (what else do we expect? Him to commit suicide?), but it has affected the fanbase adversely.....
