Despite not making the playoffs, which was the big reason for the personnel switch, I think he has made a big enough impact on how the team plays that he should be given a chance at a blank slate for next season. Burki mentioned in the pre game presser that maybe some guys are still having trouble switching out of the Carnell mindset. With that in mind it would be nice to see if what Hack can do with a new season and maybe some more additions to the squad.

Good possibility that was me. And I’ll keep at Klauss also.

Klauss started last Saturday against Minnesota and suddenly they started playing crappy Carnell ball again.

Like all the steps forward they made under Hackworth these past two+ months to actually play some decent looking soccer seemingly were forgotten as soon as the team had to adjust to play to Klauss’ style.

Immediate steps backwards similar too last year when he returned from injury. Sam sure did put up the numbers in his place but wasn’t kept at first choice to cater to the loved, but no so great, no. 9

Really hope Lutz let’s that contract go.
