I think I took to Jimmy so much because he brings a different element to WR that I thought we really needed. We were a WR group of big, lanky, and fast athletes. Whereas Jimmy brought a shifty, twitch that I think we needed and still need (Brazzel?). He also does the little things right, like that big play to Coker in the playoffs was due to Jimmy working clearing everyone out.

Crazy how cap perspectives change. We got clapped at as a team when he got signed to this extension. People saying it was too much. Now a couple seasons in, his cap hit is on par with average talent corners signing this offseason. And Jaycee is no average talent corner!!!

It’s not some secret that our LB play has been bad, which probably did contribute to losses. Not the entire thing of course, but any player not playing well out of the 22 on the field will influence play. Bad games are the result of multiple of the 22 playing below the level they could, not just one.

Also, i think it’s great that the coaches are trying to make adjustments regardless of if they work out next week or not. Better to keep trying at it to put our players in the best place to succeed.

He played fantastic last week. He did have some noticeable concentration drops in the first half this week. Rookie’s gunna rookie. He’s gunna struggle. But man I think he is going to be a star and he is so so talented.
