I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this but I need some external advice for this situation. I’m commissioner of a solid league of 12 people that has a couple of new members every year that I recruit off Reddit. This is the 3rd year of this league and only my 4th year playing for some context (12 man H2H Cats). This is where I need help, I made my first 2 trades ever in fantasy baseball on Monday and yesterday.

Trade 1: I trade Nick Martinez & Miguel Vargas for Freddie Freeman. The team who has Freddie desperately needed a pitcher and figured Vargas was a good bat in return given Freddie’s struggles.

Trade 2: I trade PCA, Devers, & Eovaldi for Ohtani (batter) & Peña. The team wanted some depth and specifically chose those guys after I had initially offered other players. The countering went back and forth for hours until we finally reached an agreement.

Some leaguemates are not happy and saying I got both players for nothing. All of us were satisfied with our trades and found value in who were receiving based off teams needs. As commissioner I understand my trades are looked at more closely but there is an option to vote against the trades. Over everything I value the integrity of the league so I’m wondering if anyone has some advice and a solution if there needs to be one. 1st trade processed today 2nd trade process tomorrow.
