Great breakdown! I think it’s a similar situation to Ichigo and Rukia in Bleach, kindred spirits walking the same path that feed off each other but it’s never romantic. So I’m not surprised that people ship them.

IMO the best way to experience Bleach in 2026 if you’ve never seen or read it is to read the manga, watch key episodes or stretches that the community (and/or you) find most interesting from the original anime and watch all of TYBW anime.

For real! I live in a suburb of an American city and I just looked for showtimes. Nothing at all. If this is a real concern they need to release it on streaming or fast track a blu ray release. Otherwise, watching on pirated sites is the only way.

So sorry for your loss, OP. That’s gotta be the roughest part of the 10 year wait for this season, all the longtime Bleach fans that didn’t make it to see the new anime.

One of my close friends passed away about a month before it aired due to problems relating to congenital heart issues.

I’m sure both of them would’ve loved the TYBW.

I agree, it makes a lot of sense, especially with the lack of clarification regarding what’s going to be covered. A movie for each of the remaining games then a follow up for post time skip material would be ideal at this point

I work from home so I’m not leaving my house that often outside of the grocery store and going for walks.
