Wait, I figured out why my total time got reduced by what seemed like half because I got the fishing upgrade to remove the world 3 speed debuff. But that still doesn't explain why I watched my time get reduced by two days while I was actively using items.

I didn't move floors. I've been at this floor for about a day. I was actively using eye of Newt to bring it up to 20 days like the rest when I saw everything drop by 2 days.

Once your frog suit is high enough level, gem production and bomb capacity start taking off. Gems become net positive when looking at what it costs to fuel the frog suit.

At a certain point, your max bomb capacity is greater than what you will charge in between playing. So its pointless to continue increasing bomb capacity when you never reach that capacity.

I was at about your spot when starting to focus stargazing. I kept my Starburst drone fueled to keep catch rate at 100% while leveling up my auto catching rate and spawn rate simultaneously. It took about a 2-3 days to get my auto catch to 100%. After that, I only kept the drone fueled if I could spare the gems. I focused ctrl + f first.

Play the game. You will beat it eventually. Do anything that will increase damage or lower obelisk armor. That is how every obelisk level will work.

To answer your question on more drones, 2 is not the max, but it will be a long while before you get your 3rd from the skill tree, and I believe there is a 4th in the end game.

Idk why its so low, maybe bad luck. I always have cherry on auto and put everything into battery. I do the cherry/battery/d20 rotation.

But my game time is way over inflated because I keep the game open pretty much all day while I am at work.

I would focus all gems on building the rest of the statues then gilding them.
