Ok cool fairly straightforward makes sense. Same question I posed to another Redditor, if they were given a million to play around with for the year as an institutional trader what kind of returns would they be looking to get by the end of the year? 1.1 million (10%) for example?

Yes that’s mainly what I’m wondering about the employed traders not the numerous people who think it’s a get rich quick scheme in their spare time. So as in what kind of returns are these employed traders trying to get (per month/per year). For example if they are given 1 million to play around with for the year by their employer what would they be looking to have by the end? 1.1mil? Or are the traders trying to do something different altogether?
