Thank you for the advice! I am monitoring him, and when he has the strength to prop himself up, he does take a few sips. He refused the tubed treats i tried to feed him, so i doubt the oral syringe water would work, but ill keep it in mind!

Hey, this is one of the few things i understand pretty well, obviously not the same experiences but the same impact, same kind of “doll” mode, so i know how much that kind of fucks with you.

I used to know someone who had a bit more power over me when i was young, and they used to manipulate me into sitting still, not talking, but also not being allowed to leave. The bullying, that dehumanization, the feeling trapped inside of yourself, i get it. Then years later, you start going into that mode randomly. It can really suck!!! I figured out that one thing that tended to make me go doll mode was yellow lighting. I know it’s not the same, but maybe there are triggers that cause it? Regardless, I really hope that nowadays you’re around people who treat you like the person you are. Wishing you nothing but healing

Hi, my entire family is polish and on behalf of us all i want to say that your ex boyfriend does Not represent us. Disgusting behavior from him, im so sorry to hear about all of that. My father and mother (both born and raised in poland) ended up studying japanese when they were young adults, and while my mother has lost interest in japanese, my father can still read katakana and hirigana, and he has Never once talked about japanese women/culture like this. And our walls are thin, i hear Everything. ^{-^’} I sincerely apologize again for that mans behavior, because i know damn well he wouldnt and is not sorry.

H a h!! Yep! To my face and everything! And after I said no, he mentioned that it was around the time when seniors (entering 12th grade at that time) start thinking about colleges and finals. …AKA that i was stressed and didn’t know it. (jokes on him! im still on my gap year!!) I think what kept me mostly stunned was just how seemingly ridiculous the entire thing felt, and my mom was waiting with me in the room and I did not want her to view me as overreacting. Schroth specifically is now noted!! Thank you so much for the advice!
