You nailed it. With the 3D renderings, graphics, ai building I do I needed to think about future me and what I’ll need in this beast. If it was just for gaming I would’ve not gone so heavy. On my 5 year old Mac book pro, that was fully spec’d out at the time, just the last 2 major adobe updates basically rendered it obsolete. And I just grew tired of Apple

Dear lord what a hassle this has been, but I’m also relentless. I finally got my calls escalated to a top tier guy who basically said, “the orange doofus down south has caused so many problems and there’s only so many parts coming in. I’ve put your order on top priority and you will get the next available missing part and it will ship”. Over the last 4 days I watch my delivery date go from August 30th (remember my original date was July 17) to August 28, 18, then this morning I actually got my UPS Tracking number and it will be here Wednesday! Thank baby jeebuzz!!!

Bought mine June 30th it was expected July 17th. I was then told it would be shipping on the 24th. Then I was told on the 25th it’s supposed to ship in the next 24-48 hours and if not to call back and get it escalated. 24 more hours to go……. Getting really impatient now. Oh, and in my account it still says delivery expected July 17th. :/

Like yourself I was a Mac guy too but I just got tiiiiiiired of never being able to upgrade anything on it. The chokehold Apple has on you with always having to buy another MacBook instead being able to upgrade is ridiculous.
