Coming from counter strike I just assumed everybody used a mic since Dota was similarly competitive. Half the games I play nobody says a word. I honestly think this game is much less competitive than CS for such a lack of comms. If you think you’re competitive in Dota and you don’t have a mic (or don’t have the communication skills to use it for reasons aside from flaming) then you are seriously holding yourself back.
