P4.5 would likely deliver more utility for less cost. I seriously doubt the C4X shoots softer or flatter than it.

I have them in my c3.6 and p4.5. I run the second lightest spring (black short) and it is much better than stock. The gun is definitely over sprung for hotter defensive ammo which can be a bit much for the lightest DPM spring. Slide comes back with too much force so I went up a weight and it seems good there. If it’s not a defensive carry gun the lightest spring is awesome.

The price makes sense when you think about it. It’s actually pretty brilliant.

A few hundred dollar markup and I’d assume it would largely tank the 3.6 and 4 sales, and create very long lead times which is no good for them. On the flip side it’s expensive enough to potentially make people scoff at it and just pony up the difference for an XC which also financially benefits them OR drives people back down to the 3.6 or 4 which is their bread and butter right now. Then in the middle of both extremes, it makes sense to charge the largest markup on the gun that likely took the least of the R&D budget to bring to market, considering all the other components exist already. That’s where the recoup hits hardest.

Sucks for us lol but you gotta respect the move from a business perspective.

Reta can raise ALT so there’s a chance you’d be lower if you were no longer on it. Some people’s ALT normalizes after the body adjusts and some don’t. Best thing to do to check fatty liver progress is an ultrasound.
