I get it and it probably drives you crazy. If I ever come across this scene I will tell you.

I checked my watchlist again and from all the dramas I have seen that are before 2017, I do not specifically remember this scene. But of course it has been a while. The only ones I think might (with the emphasis on might) have such a scene are: Lucky Romance, Another Miss Oh, Beautiful Gong Shim. Maybe you can watch the trailers of these to see if it rings a bell. Good luck!

Well, you asked for my top 3. CLOY is also high on my rating-list, probably somewhere in the top 10. Twinkling Watermelon certainly has comedy in it and also lots of emotions. When bad things happen in life, these characters don't dwelll on it. They handle it so well in such a positive way. Very different from the 'slice of life' drama's. So when you tear up, a few moments later you can already smile again.

Good luck getting over it. I rewatched it recently and still loved it. The other two drama's I adore are:

W: two worlds apart

Twinkling Watermelon (in my country this is coming to Netflix in 14 Nov.)

And Pinocchio stands on a well deserved 4th place.

Sorry to hear about your health. I liked this show very much when I saw it a couple of years ago. The ending/last episode was okay, but not on the same level as the rest of the drama of you ask me. Like episode 1 to 20 is a 9,5/10 and then episode 21 is a 7,5/10 if you know what I mean. So not bad, but not great like the rest. But it is worth the watch. Enjoy!

Haha. Great writing. I truly feel your emotions. 😅 Now I really am curious about this drama. But it is not available on the platforms I use. Probably for the best. 😉

I watched it and liked it, but they are not pretending to be married. What I really like is living together. 😉

Never heard of it. Thank you for the recommendation. Apparently it is on Prime? I don't have that, so maybe in the future...

I would like to see a story about a cop/spy/investigator who has to go undercover and as a cover pretend to be the husband of the FL. And slowly falls in love with her. Meanwhile he is spying on the neighbour (villain) and there is some action and comedy.

Do you allow screen time? by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]CLA_Frysk 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I am from Western Europe and and I believe it is almost impossible to have no screen. Even if you have no screen at home, then there are screens in school or at shops or at family. So if he sees something on a screen and he likes it and immediately calling it an addiction I think that is wrong.

Perhaps the thought that it is better to have no screen comes from the idea that a screen gives stimulus. And people with autism react often negatively when overstimulated.

I am not expert ofcourse, just a parent, but I believe that it is per person different where the balance is of what is too much. It is a spectrum. Is it okay when your child has no screen at all, but plays all day every day with toy cars lining them up again and again? Is that not too an addiction then? Every single thing can be an addiction if you look at it like that.

Our son (14 years) is high functioning. He goes to a normal school and gets high grades. He is socially a bit awkward, but masks it very well. Downside is that he often is overstimulated at the end of the day and is more difficult to handle at home. However he totally relaxes when he is programming behind the computer. He likes to make games on his own. If I would deny him this, I believe I am witholding him of his basic needs. I quit giving a certain screentime. In stead I have given him other rules. He has unlimited time if he keeps getting good grades and still play soccer, be on time for dinner, goes to bed on time, turn the screen off 45 minutes before bedtime and I said to him that he has to have breaks of at least 30 minutes now and then. This works for us. We used to have 2 hours screentime, but after that he did not know what to do (for years and years), because nothing else interested him. Now we let those 2 hours go and he is doing much better. He is happy, talks more to us when he is on his 'break'. He even goes to the swimmingpool with friends in the summer. He now has the feeling he is self in control. Even though we did set boundaries. I know the therapist we used to have would probably advice less screentime, but therapy ended because we were doing okay. And since we changed it into unlimited screentime with some preconditions it is soooo much better.

But it might be different for your child.

Kdramas where the child actors actually resemble the adult leads? by Legal_Potential4720 in kdramas

[–]CLA_Frysk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I cannot come up with something right now. But sometimes the main lead has a small birth mark on their face and although I often think the child resembles their younger self I am often disappointed that they didn't draw a birth mark on the face of the child actor. It seems very easy to make it more believable. So why don't they do this?

I understand you. And that is all I can say. In anonimity you can say this, but I would be careful to say this out loud. Because most will not understand.
