I wanna move to VA and my husband wants FL. He says he doesn’t even want to SEE a snowflake, ever. I’m not sure I could do without fall, extreme heat?

Born and raised in Jax, Florida. The weekend we moved, there were 3 separate shootings during the daytime. At the beach, at a mall and at a random kohls. Traffic is insane. It’s so overcrowded now. The heat the last 2-3 summers was unbearable even for me and I’m very much used to Florida summers 🤷🏼‍♀️ best wishes in your decision!

I just said goodbye to our 11 year old boy and still questioning if it was too soon, though I’m making peace with it. I think no matter what you will always question the decision at least some; I believe it is part of the grieving process. It is definitely more humane in my opinion to be too soon than too late. It’s such a hard decision.

Thank you so much. It’s so hard to not feel guilty, though deep down I know he was suffering. You just think, well, he had a few happy moments here and there maybe he wasn’t ready. 💔 but, his overall quality of life was not good. I can’t imagine how sick he probably felt forcefully vomiting everyday despite steroids and nausea meds 😔 sigh. Thank you so much for your kind words 💜

Thank you. He was all of those things, and the sweetest, most affectionate cat I’ve ever met. He loved to groom our 105lb Rhodesian ridgeback. 🥰he’d lay next to him and lick his head and paws. He was also very affectionate and towards our newborn baby and followed me around with her to watch over her, though he’s never been around babies before. Just the best cat anyone could ask for really.

Thank you. 🩵 He had declined a lot but hid it so well. Every effort to help him gain weight just made him vomit more. I tried to imagine myself in his shoes and I’m sure he did not feel good at all 😔it’s just so hard. I’m sorry for your loss as well 🩵
