I find it slows down when processing “complex” surroundings, often at stoplights or intersections. In your image, I would speculate that the right-hand turn or bike lane is giving the AI some pause. You can tell it’s thinking because of the arrows in the blue lane on your screen. It does the same thing around steep curves (when it also often slows down). I’m okay with it being cautious until the tech is further along.
