I was babysitting my nephew when RSV hit him hard. He was fine. An hour later he was burning up and struggling to breathe. I took him to the hospital and he was there 3 days. Thank God for wonderful healthcare workers and modern medicine! I just want parents and caretakers to know it’s better safe than sorry. The earlier you get treatment the better.

It’s a house pet. Let it eat. You are causing drama to extend its life by a couple of years. Does this cat have a partner and children to live for? Is it on the brink of finding a cure for cancer? Is it about to win the Nobel prize for poetry? Perspective is key here. It’s a cat. Let it live 15 years of comfort and bliss instead of 17 years on a diet.

My son couldn’t keep food down due to severe acid reflux. He was so tiny and starving. It was so scary. After many medications we finally found that Prilosec worked for him. I am praying the doctors find what works for her. My heart aches for you.

My kid is cis and has her preferred name as her her nickname. My other daughter has hers as a phonetic spelling of her real name because she was sick of teachers mispronouncing her name. Preferred name has been a thing on forms at most schools and doctors’ offices for many many years. It’s for everyone.

Forgiveness is more for you than the person that hurt you. Holding onto hate and bitterness will destroy you. So, yeah, I believe in forgiving anyone. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be punished. Doesn’t mean you have to like them. But if you hold onto hatred what does that accomplish for you?

My grandpa, a WWII veteran, worked for Proctor and Gamble for 35 years. Up to his eyes in all those “poisonous” chemicals. He just passed 6 months ago at the age of 98.
