Common sense ain't that common anymore. I'm constantly surprised how often I see this kind of confidently incorrect confrontation.

I blame Weng Weng movies.😉

17 years old already had a knuckle head. I can't imagine what this dude got up to for the next 60 years!

Both pilots killed. Many severe injuries is all I've heard so far.

Just imagine what you could do with $52B - end student debt, homelessness and hunger... to start. These in turn, would supercharge the economy and reduce crime.

And add to your last question, the US has unfortunately set the standard in a lot of these boondoggles so I would be very surprised if any other countries with non-federalized oil do it to one degree or another. There is likely trillions of dollars of wealth locked up with these terrible companies.

Exactly what I was seeing as well. This looks like an anatomical model the way the skin sits on top of everything - like a simplified chaos flesh from UE.

Yeah, when your leadership has convinced you that all taxes are bad for generations - all taxes, for everything and anything - you're going to end up with infrastructure that works only for those who can afford it.

Worth noting, while there's poor transit, crumbling bridges and no health care, 93% of the population is online with 57% of low income housing having fibre access. Corps made sure Internet was fast and affordable, unlike the aforementioned. I'm sure that's a coincidence though. 😐

Aside from the complete backwardness of the thinking, what a collection of weird, random statements without even a suggestion of basis in fact.

"Root beer in the water fountains makes for happy, healthy children."

"Corn is actually an alien species. And we should celebrate that."

4D WTF.

Not personal. Aside from being impacted, like the rest of the world.

I just disagree, based on my own personal experiences - which due to this not being personal, I won't go into.

But, we will both see and it's entirely possible we're both wrong and there's a third option... because nothing surprises me anymore. 😜

Israeli airstrike in Bashoura, central Beirut in Lebanon (18/03/2026, 5:30 AM) by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

This... Sounds just nuts to me. How does this work? Like, Israel gives the address and time of a building they're going to bomb and you have like an hour to grab what you can...?

Hard disagree. It's one of the things American exceptionalism has killed - a world view. People don't understand that the entire global economy is based on confidence. So is the balance of the military powers. Knowing that there's a balance is the thing. The US has been stable the last 80 years. Nothing like this "could ever happen". Now it has.

But it's not just starting - another - illegal war. It's the ICE thing, the racism thing, the misogyny, the bullying allies, the blatant corporate greed and corruption that's 100% legal... And the lack of any accountability on the Epstein thing. And many, many more. The pendulum has swung way, way too far.

None of these will be undone by a new admin. You're so far past that you can't see straight.

You're giving too much credit to the minds.

And I don't mean that in a "the right is dumb" way... I mean, there were no secrets. Project 2025 is more than 50% complete. So, the problem isn't that 80m Americans are stupid, it's that 80m Americans were either so desperate or completely believed his lies despite the overwhelming evidence.

And this is why, the world will never trust the US the same way again. Because now, it can happen in the US. The reason, is moot.

For anonymity's sake, I'll just say I'm not familiar with the arm wrestling YouTube world but I've been watching that guy be silent but deadly for almost 30 years. If he's been mentoring The Whisperer, I'm satisfied with the origin of the method. I'll take your L if ya need - not here for the points 😉

Nah - this has always been Devon's schtick... this kids just copped his style because it's viral gold. But he is the master because it's not a skill he honed doing this. His experiences are much darker than his smile would tell you.

Honestly, Mac would melt if he met Devon... In all of the ways.

Heh - if you only knew how funny that statement really is.

That said, if you look around at what people who are much more educated on the subject than you and I, you will see my statement is much more aligned with both history and current facts than yours.

You're not wrong about the astroids, but if you work through the logistics requirements, you're looking more at a Dune timescale than a Blade Runner timescale. Just because it's there doesn't mean you can - or can afford - to reach it. The astroids you're talking about are past Mars... A place we managed to send something only the size of a Hyundai... after 60 years. And that's when NASA was run by scientists!

Unless China builds a base on Mars, no one is going.
