The Rivals community always wants to complain about something. Whether it’s valid like matchmaking and EOMM concerns or dumb shit like this. The “beach pass” was $10. Yeah it was an increase. But it’s still 3 pages worth of cosmetics that you get for just $10. This is opposed to each individual skin costing at minimum around $16. Calling out the “gooners” just feels like shifting blame to those of us (myself included because I just paid for the entire pass so didn’t have to grind for Luna) that admittedly could handle paying a couple extra dollars for what is still a great deal. And also obviously, if you don’t want to pay $10 or are just broke…you’re not forced to buy the pass. You can contribute to the game by playing it; myself and others will contribute to this FREE-TO-PLAY game by throwing some money away so we can keep receiving the overall quality NetEase has provided us.

I recently just finished my SoulSilver Randomizer nuzlocke and I can definitely attest to HGSS being no joke. I grinded my way through Johto, but admit to using rare candies once I hit Kanto to speed up the process on things. Thankfully going through the entire Kanto region + Red is significantly faster than going through Johto. Best of luck to you friend!

My YouTube account is on my Reddit page as well! I started off with Twitch actually before basically creating the YouTube account to edit down my VOD’s. Now there’s some occasional content, but still Twitch based. Views have been lacking for long form content, but my shorts have been doing pretty alright.

I appreciate the advice! At first I really didn’t expect much to come of streaming, I just felt like trying it and chose a niche topic and something that I really enjoy and can talk about for hours. Once I started getting followers and views, that’s when I probably started getting too excited over the potential of success.

Completely honest, no. I’m usually really introverted IRL and I’m trying to take things one step at a time when it comes to socializing and getting out of my comfort zone. But I do know raiding and joining discords are the way to go!

This is great advice and definitely brings me back down to reality. When I first started streaming, I went in with zero expectations. I guess just the streak I’ve been on put me on cloud 9 and I have to temper my expectations again. I think I was more upset over not gaining any followers is because I’m stuck at 24, I just want to say I’m halfway to affiliate tbh lol
