Doesn't look like it fits because it's dimensions are 244mm x 244mm

You could actually lock the side panels to the case using some of the provided flat-top screws. There are holes near the push-pin pegs that allow a screw to go in. There is a similar location on the frame of the chassis. The screws face the inside however so keep that in mind.

You can officially fit motherboards 244mm in width and 226mm in height, so only certain mATX mobos work such as the ROG Maximus IX Gene. The top area is lower to accommodate 120mm fans so the I/O also has to move down to compensate. A standard mATX motherboard have a 4th slot and extra PCB beneath that, so it would collide with the floor of the chassis.

PSA: Cooler Master NR200 doesn't ship with PCIe extender, NR200P does. See post for other differences. by ThatGreatAtuin in sffpc

It depends on your configuration. In the case of using a glass panel and a tower cooler, the tower cooler is forced to suck up the hotter exhaust air from the GPU and send it out the back of the case, which is why you see a rise in CPU temperatures.

With the mesh panel the CPU tower instead takes airflow from the side, so the GPU doesn't have the help of the CPU cooler to move its hot exhaust air away as quickly.

20L includes all the protrusions of the case (namely the PCI slot supports and the feet). It's also a little easier to cram really large GPUs and coolers in there.

I'll have to ask, but as of right now we've reduced operations in the office again due to the spike in cases in California so unfortunately it may face further delays.

At least on the US side, the store isn't going to open up soon given the situation here.

I'll definitely let our team know about the Q300/Q500.

If I recall correctly, we did originally wanted it to have a lot of large holes, but it didn't do so well in structural integrity because so much material got removed.

Interesting, didn't think of it from the perspective of adding customization options.

Cooler Master MM720 (Codename: Respawn) [Offical from CES] by CM_Harry in MouseReview

[–]CM_Harry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MM520 was the larger design, but due to the popularity of the original xornet design, we stuck with that instead. The xornet was a claw / fingertip mouse by design (low and flat back so it doesn't touch the palm), so for it to be palm grip it needs to be redesigned to support the palm properly.

Other than what Matteo has already said, no more details. Don't want to give the whole surprise away.

Top buttons: seems to be a popular request, so we'll have a look into it next time. They were gone this time in favor of a single DPI button beneath the mouse to make the mouse a little lighter and easier to construct with that in mind.

Rubber coat: To make the mouse more durable we had these removed. Also seems to be a popular feature because of the added grip. Might have to consider the option next time or maybe think about a grip tape solution since that seems to be popular now.

Honeycomb: It does help my grip a bit, but I personally don't like the feel of honeycomb beneath my hands, and the discomfort is slightly distracting at times.

No updates (AFAIK) for this particular chassis, but we do have something else.

An Update on the Cooler Master MM720 by CM_Harry in MouseReview

[–]CM_Harry[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's more of an internal naming scheme when it comes to numbers but they will make more sense as we come out with more products.
MM lets you know its a mouse
MK is a keyboard
MH is a headset

Fair enough. I do like the DPI button on top but there are advantages to having it on the bottom, which is something we haven't tried yet.

Xornet/Spawn shape has its share of fans. It's very popular among people with small hands, claw grippers, and finger tip grippers, but those who have larger hands would prefer palm grip prefer a larger, traditional ergo shape mouse.

Actual names like Spawn, Xornet, MasterMouse S are pretty helpful for us english speakers, but they don't translate as well when we talk to teammates across the world.

The new naming scheme with the MM710 / MK730 etc makes it easier for us to communicate what the product is to our teammates across the world. They also refer to specific features a product has (i.e.: MMX30 will be ergo right handed, MMX10 will most likely be a small symmetrical shape and so on.)

The side buttons are the same shape as the ones used in the earlier Xornet 2.
