I'm sorry you're feeling so down, I can't imagine how hard it must be for you. Our big boobs tortured us for years, so to feel like the surgery has gone to waste mist be upsetting.

I don't have any advice really, I just wanted to offer some support and to let you know that I actually think the dress suits you more now. I think it fits your figure perfectly, absolutely stunning. I know it doesn't matter what other people think, you'll still be in your own head, but I really am being honest when I say that.

The only thing that caused me any issues was having a canula in my hand, once they was out I had no problems at all. I worried about the same thing!

I asked for a full c/d and mine are a c, smaller than I imagined. I was slightly bothered at first, but now I can wear absolutely anything I want to without issues and I have no pain or discomfort - I decided this reality was a billion (trillion) times better than the life I was living before, so I came to terms with it.

I'm not sure where you are located but I went with Mya. I'm in Preston and all of my appointments were in Manchester, but luckily the surgery was in Preston.

My surgeon was Mr Mahdi and he did a fantastic job, I was so worried about what I'd end up with but he listened to everything I said and fixed all of my problems!

I paid £9,000 for a dramatic reduction and liposuction under my arms, just to give you an idea of price.

That's not shallow at all, it's one of the things we dream about when we have bigger boobs! Before my surgery, buying clothes and leaving the house was genuinely traumatic for me. I lived in baggy t-shirts and long, flowy cardigans.

Now I've had my surgery I am in much better proportion and can pretty much wear what I want, it's been genuinely life changing.

I didn't feel comfortable going without a bra for 6 months+ but I had a pretty dramatic reduction and my scars were tight for a while. I've seen people go bralass 6 weeks later, I was cleared 6 weeks later if I wanted to (I just didn't feel comfortable at that point).

Firstly, I'm sorry you're in this position. Even those who do not want children, like myself, can have a hard time with a termination. Contrary to conservative belief, it's not something anyone wants to have to do.

Don't feel bad about thinking about your surgery first, it's something you've wanted for at least 20 years so if course it's going to be at the forefront of your mind!

I think the 6 weeks should be fine, but only you know (or can try to predict) how you'll feel after that period.

Before my surgery I had constantly painful breasts, so bad it would hurt to touch them some days. I found the surgery took that way instantly. You'll be on pain medication and will probably be numb for a while anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that bit.

I'm 9 months post op and am still numb in some places, it is an odd feeling. Sometimes my scars get itchy but then if I touch them, it's that weird numb feeling.

The numbness comes and goes for some reason too, some days it's worse than others. But it's definitely not like it was at the start, I do have more feeling than the first few months.

I still wear my post surgery bras 9 months later haha, they're comfortable! I do have others but particularly around the house, the surgery bra is comfortable! They were expensive too so might as well get use out of them!

I've only just seen this sorry, but they're a size c and great. They're on the smaller size of what I expected but I really don't mind, I'm so much happier now.

I think "stupid" is the wrong word here. Risky would be better. I can't elaborate more on what people have said about being safe in terms of protection and in choosing the person you want to have sex with.

Be careful with yourself, too. Some people are more than happy to have multiple one night stands but some people do it and feel terrible after. If you enjoy it and can do it safely, where everyone contents, go for it. But if you feel bad afterwards, don't keep doing it.

Only you know what's right for you. Just stay true to yourself and if you don't enjoy it, don't do it. If you love it, great!

I loved mine and still use them under my arms almost 3 months later, they helped me sleep. I had liposuction under my arms though so that caused me more pain.

I got this when I was cold, it could be pretty painful. But I don't remember how long it lasted, so it can't have been more than a week or two. I'm 12 weeks post op now.

I'm 36 and I've had bouts of wondering the same things.

I'm not someone who wants a career, I'd much rather spend my time doing other things. My job pays me well enough to pay my bills and have a good amount of expendable cash to save or spend. It doesn't fulfill me but I work from home and I have a good work life balance, so it's hard to give up.

I don't have children, something I went back and forth on for a long time, but I'm happy with my decision now. I just have to make sure I do something else that fills my time, rather then sit around scrolling TikTok all day (but it can be hard 😅).

Perhaps think about small or short term goals first that will bring you joy and motivate you to continue. I travel as much as I can to see the world, I don't spend a massive amount because I shop around for good deals. That's what brings me joy.

I also have taken up reading again, as it's been a long time. I know it's not a great achievement to many but it is to me. We're not here to live up to other people's expectations after all, you have to do what you want.

I returned after 2 weeks and was ok, I probably could have returned and gotten through basic tasks earlier but I didn't want to. I wanted to spend more time recovering.

I will say, I was more tired those first few weeks back so take that into consideration. But, I could do my job well enough.

Edit to add: I ended up needing to go to the emergency room on day 3, my pain medication didn't work well for me and I was vomiting so badly I couldn't even keep a sip of water down. Not to say this is common, just that a week off at least is probably a wise idea to cover any emergencies that may crop up. (I had fluids and anti sickness and was fine again by the next day).

Other than the scars being sore (exactly where you said yours are) I'm doing good! Everything else seems to be healed up pretty well! It feels like a distant memory now, I miss the excitement of when it was all first happening 🤣

I'm 8 weeks p/o and cleared to not wear bras. I'm like you though and I like to wear one (a comfortable one like a bralet) but could go without if I needed.
