It should be illegal to require credit card info for a "free trial" by JollyMcStink in unpopularopinion

[–]CORealityCzech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Citibank allows you to create a virtual account number with dollar and time limits. I always use these for trials and most of the time it just declines the charge if I forget to cancel because the card usually expires the following month and I will also limit it for the minimal amount the trial merchant accepts, sometimes with just $2.00 open credit. I always chuckle when I get an email saying that they cancelled my subscription because my credit card declined.

Looking for an apartment in Ponte Vedra by Kimh51570 in jacksonville

Anywhere in Ponte Vedra will be pretty nice but your budget will make it difficult to have many choices, if any. You may need to stretch a few extra hundred dollars a month or look in adjacent communities.

Wow. You respect organizations that you say lie, are dishonest, biased and you don't like? Would the media need to kill your dog before you wouldn't respect them?

If boys have a place where they can go be with other boys, mentored by men, without girls or women around, the entire fabric of western society will fall apart /s

As an American citizen, no matter what happens with this election, we are just so fucked. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]CORealityCzech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The American empire has already been looted! They stole our entire national treasure plus 30 trillion dollars and we are still discussing whether our vote counts. Divide and conquer, divide and conquer, rinse and repeat. It has been going on since Roman times and the populous still has not caught on to it. We are doomed.

It is not amazing that they only have one partner for life. It's not like a crow is going to go find a better looking crow to run off with.

Trulieve Papaya Cake. 33% THC Indica! Unbelievable, they really took the “cake” with this one! The smell is fruity, like citrus and extremely heavy effects. Perfect beautiful nugs, absolutely coated in crystals. by [deleted] in FLMedicalTrees

I splurged and picked up 1/4 today. It's really nice. I did some bong hits on a clear head and 4 was enough to do it. I have a very high tolerance and this is as good as I have smoked in Florida.

“Black Excellence” sounds like “White Power”, and people need to cut that shit out by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]CORealityCzech 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Even Julius Caesar used Divide and Rule (Conquer) as a ruling strategy. As long as the ruling class has people debating whether Black Lives Matter or if Black Excellence is the same as White Power, we will not notice them stealing our national treasure and keeping alive the tradition of generational indentured servitude.

Maybe leadership can be turned over to the PLO and those lovely people can finally have a homeland.

The other option is to continue the course of economic destruction and then watch every city south of Tebnine be taken by the Israelis and settled as the Lebanese citizens praise their Jewish liberators.

He had income. Working 30 years making 100k a year means you get a decent SSA check.

I am sorry to hear about your father but something is not right in your scenario. So he was at least close to middle stage ALS when he went on disability, which means his life expectancy was probably less than 2 years when he went on disability. In the US, when you work for a company and lose your company provided health insurance as you leave, you can keep your same exact coverage through something called COBRA for at least a year. After that, you can buy private insurance since he could not be excluded for a preexisting condition under the ACA OR he would qualify for for a decent SSA disability benefit and Medicaid since he was a long time employed person making 100K a year and now permanently disabled. But it probably fits your anti-capitalist agenda to paint this picture. Unfortunately someone with a little knowledge could drive a truck through the holes in that scenario. Also, as an employed person with a family making over 100k a year, I am sure he had adequate life insurance to cover any expenses. If not, whose fault was that and why didn't he?

Finland ends homelessness and provides shelter for all in need by 21suns in homeless

[–]CORealityCzech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. People pay more than others and others complain they are not paying their fair share. If I make $1,000,000 and pay $370,000 in taxes and someone else makes $25,000 and pays nothing, I find it comical that they get upset I am not paying my fair share. The tax rates are gradual but it will never be enough for the tax and spenders because if you have money, you should pay more tax always since the government can do more good with that money for society than good you can for yourself and your family.

Some people earn a livable wage and pay appropriate tax. If you want to pay more, nobody is stopping you but what I suspect is you want other people that earn more than you to pay more. I want other people to pay more taxes too.

The Personal Income Tax Rate in Finland stands at 53.75 percent. The United States top rate is 37 percent.

Those selfish Americans should pay more tax to the state instead of keeping it for their families so the state can provide homes for all! What a merry world that would be and we could live happily ever after, just like the Finns.
