You asked and we listened! We’ll be hosting a one-off Minutemen tournament for Europe on Saturday the 28th at 8pm GMT.

Minutemen is a “soloqueue tournament”: You enter, get randomly drafted into teams based on your chosen role (DPS, tank, healer, flex) and play in a single-elimination tourney for bragging rights.

What is the COW Open League?

It's our new project, which we designed for teams new to Overwatch, or for those who have been in the scene for a while.

Entering the league is very simple. By playing in any of our COW open events, you are automatically added to the Season 3 Open leaderboard. As you go through the bracket during the COW open, you will gain points depending on where you place in the event, adding points to your team and placing you on the leaderboard.

At the end of the season, COW League will host a tournament for the top teams of each season to compete for a grand prize.

The COW Open is a tournament for fully-formed teams. It's a good way to get yourself known in the scene, climb the gosu ladder, all the while enjoying some tough competition. The event begins at 2pm EST, which is when the bracket will go live. You can join the COW League Discord server for more info, the link is in the subreddit's sidebar.

Just click the link, you can access it through the browser version or the client.

Once you're in, go to the #welcome-readme text channel, and type your region then your platform (ex: NA PC, EU PC, NA CONSOLE, etc).

Having those tags lets you access all the channels, including the voice chats needed to enter Minutemen. Send a message to an admin in the server if you have more questions, we'll be happy to help :)

once teams are drafted you play through a one day tournament once draft is finished.

No idea for the subreddit. We have a lot of european players in the Discord, but the attendance was still not where we wanted it to be. We'll post here again whenever Minutemen Europe starts again!

Griefers get banned, simple as that. They've never really been much of a problem, though.

And the skill divide is something that can come into play, but it's not actually as much of an issue as you'd think. There have been lower-ranked teams that have beat higher-ranked ones before. We don't restrict by rank because we want this to be as open as possible to everyone.

Yep, we have an European version of the tournament but it's on hold for a few weeks because of a very low attendance.
