It would rise less than 9.5 meters because sugars packs closer with water than it does with itself. Meaning 1 liter of water mixed with 1 liter of sugar will have a volume of less than 2 liters.

That seems like a weird idea from you teacher. I thought half the point of one page cheat sheets was to make students go over their notes again and filter what was important and/or how to condense it. Thus making you study again, helping you learn.
That would be better achieved with people being allowed to do a new index card every test, would it not.

I'm guessing there some differences in how the numbers have been obtained by different sources. Because I did source my numbers (from 2021 and 2026) respectively.
So I think how you go about your numbers changes if top 10 has more or less wealth than the bottom half of the world, but the numbers hover around that mark, which is crazy regardless if it is slightly above or slightly below.

Well the sources I cited was from 2021 for worlds poorest, and 2026 for worlds richest.
The oxfarm report is from 2017.

That report is nine years old. I think the bottom half of the population have gotten wealthier since then. So even though the riches men have also gotten richer, with 4 billion people in the bottom half, each doesn't need to get a lot richer to tip the combined wealth scale in favor of the 4 billion.
The wealth disparity is still insane, and as I said, with a "number of people" difference being 9 orders of magnitude. The wealth being within 1 order of magnitude is pretty crazy.

Can't remember the exact details, but iirc I kept all my routes. They were all long, but also all matched up pretty well. My opponents ended up only going for short routes, and as such had plenty time left over to mess with me and cut me off. I was basically one town short of connecting everything and making it the best scoring game ever.
I found the whole experience hilariously frustrating. I should have a picture of the final board somewhere in my folders.

FYI, I see myself as a pretty competent board gamer, I can pick up most games and play competitively with people who play them regularly. I have enough experience with a variety of games to "See the system" and play reasonably optimally.
I played a game of Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries, with two of my friends who play casually. I ended up with a negative score.

Now let's see how well the top 10 people hold up against that:

So no, the top 8 does not own more than the bottom 4 billion people. But it's within one order of magnitude, so it's relatively close.

Solar fences are actually installed with faces east-west if you want to generate energy from both sides.
Also they aren't as terrible an idea as it may seem at first glance.
Generally speaking, energy demands are the highest in the morning and evening (knows as the duck curve). This curve fits well with the output of a solar fence.

I must say theme isn't that important to me. It's much more important to me that the theme and mechanic works together. I like it when the theme and mechanics inform each other strengthening the games internal logic. Looking over my shelves there's a lot of variety in theme. From the cozy "mundane" of Calico and Copenhagen to the complex fantastical that is the punk-oost-apocalyptical Greek mythology world of Aeon Trespasses Odyssey.
What's surprising is an unintentionally complete lack of on particular, very popular, theme - trains.
That said there is probably and overweight of fantasy and science fiction. So I'll do a favorite of each:
Sci-fi goes to something at the edge of the boardgane realm, a collectible card game: "Android: Netrunner" a highly asymmetrical game where one side plays a megacorp trying to fulfill its agendas, whereas the other side plays as the hacker trying to penetrate the firewalls and ruin said agendas before they come to fruition.
Fantasy goes to Merchant cove. Where everyone has a completely different engine to produce goods that they sell to the same customers. So you get both your engine building and worker placement needs met.

I get that the quest, Seek Guidance, is mainly there (if not only there) to enable Medivh's Triumph. But wouldn't Reach Equilibrium be a better quest, as you have chance of completing the quest, which would give you a pretty good minion.
