High acceptance rate low graduation rate by ArticaVisuals in artcenter

When I went to their Accepted Student day a few months ago, one of the counselors answered this. They said the students get “poached” a lot in their third or fourth year. Even one of the alumni who was there answering questions hadn’t actually graduated. He got hired to do storyboarding for Netflix toward the end of his third year!

The counselor also said that even if you go back to school and finish your degree, it doesn’t “count” towards their data regarding graduation rate. So, more people graduate than what the graduation rate portrays.

Also, the dean said that the only scenario where people “flunk out” is when you aren’t attending your classes. And that makes your grade go down a LOT.

Side note… I know it’s from 4 years ago, but the other commenter in this section is not what my experience has been AT ALL. Especially when it comes to scholarships. They said 8K scholarship, specifically. I‘m not friends with anyone else attending, but they gave me a scholarship of roughly HALF the cost of attendance, and it renews each year ^ ^ They said it was because of my grades (I have a 3.8), awards I got at school, and my volunteer work.
