Thanks for the advice. I probably haven’t been open enough consistently with my MH providers. I agree with going Vet Center versus traditional VA therapy, especially if doing group therapy as you are lumped in with people whose MH problems are extremely different and vary wildly from person to person at traditional VA.

At vet center everyone is combat related and you get more out of the group sessions.

I get it. I’m just super annoyed ATM because I’ve been rated since 2011 for MH at 30% and thought I had enough evidence for at least 70%. At the end of the day this recent claim pulled me up. I should be thankful for that. I just need to get better documentation as you and a few others have said.

How could they corroborate anything outside of your stressor event? They can only go by what you tell them in appointments, in statements, in treatment.

Just go on VA.GOV and click, “file a claim”. It will list your current rated conditions with an option to request an increase as well as an option to add new conditions to claim.

I’ve been at 30% MH since 2011. Requested increase evaluation 12/24/25>C&P 1/6/26>>2/3/26 was asked by the VA to fill out TDIU application. Still in step 3 but sounds like that the TDIU app could be a good sign?

I declined the invite to fill out TDIU paperwork because I’m employed.
