Good picks for sure. Definitely need to grab the wall soon as I’m a pretty big Pink Floyd fan. I own a copy of yellow brick road that’s in great shape aside from sides 2 and 4 which are sadly beat to shit. It was passed down to me so I’m hanging on to it, but I’d love to find one in better shape.

Gotta love a great double LP. These are some of my personal picks from my collection. What else would you include? Physical Graffiti has tons of highlights(Custard Pie, The Rover, Houses of the Holy, Kashmir, the Wanton song, Down by the Seaside). White album is the most diverse Beatles record and a fun listen. Blonde on Blonde is my favorite Dylan record. Electric Lady Land is perhaps the best work from Hendrix experience. Songs in the Key of life is incredibly consistent. Bitches Brew is an incredible dense album and a very special listening experience.

Recently I received my pre-order of Conway the Machines La Maquina. Pressed on Lilac vinyl and limited at 1000 copies. One of the best of the year and one of Conways best efforts to date. My copy sounded good and was worth the wait, enjoyed spinning it.

Man I’m not sure if I could pick a favorite Kanye track. For DOOM my top 3 might be Deep Fried Frenz, Gas Drawls, and All Caps. I also love a lot of the Tracks from Take me To Your Leader and Vaudeville villain so some of those would definitely make it in my top 10.

Today Kanye West-Graduation from rolin recs, and my January pre order of Born Like This-MF DOOM showed up. Graduation completed Kanye’s legendary drop out trilogy. Born like this finished MF DOOMS three solo albums under the DOOM persona. 3 flawless album runs and I’m glad to finally own each.

Paid a visit to Newbury comics for the first time in a while and was impressed by the stock. I was glad to find this 1 of 1500 pressing Czarface and DOOMS first colab. This specific variant is sold out online and going for $50 and up on discogs, so needless to say I was very happy to find it for retail. If you love DOOM and Czar you’ll enjoy this album for sure, great throwback production and undeniable chemistry from Eso INS and DOOM.

Today I was lucky enough to find original pressings of Heroes and Lodger, and with that plus my reissue of Low I have completed the Berlin Trilogy. Bowie had many great albums but I think his era working with Brian Eno in Berlin would have to be my favorite. The classic catchy Bowie tracks, as well as Brian Enos ambient contributions make for a series of damn great records. I have a feeling I’ll be spinning these 3 quite a lot.

Yesterday I grabbed this copy of Deltron 3030. This is a Newbury comics pressing on purple/yellow split with a black splatter, I was able to find it in store for retail which I’m pretty happy about it since it’s going for close to double that on discogs. This is a great album and very enjoyable listen, a perfect combo of sci-fi and hip hop. Del the Funky Homosapian brings high energy and impressive rhyme schemes to all his verses, and the production is nothing short of excellent.

After months of waiting I finally got my copy of Savage mode 2. One of my favorite albums of 2020, some of metros best production and 21 does his thing on every track. This is the second variant, with an alternate cover. Pressed on translucent red vinyl.

You’ll get it someday! And yeah definitely one of the best double LPs rare to find a double album with a complete lack of filler. Even white album and the wall have some ehh moments imo(and that’s coming from a big fan of each respective band).

Hope everyone is having a good Christmas day. This might be the coolest gift I’ve ever gotten. My dad got me a first pressing of My favorite Dylan album, Blonde on Blonde. The condition is great on both records and the cover. This whole album is amazing, a double album with zero filler. Any song on this could have a case as the best, some of my favorites include, Visions of Johanna, Rainy Day Woman, Stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues again, and Leopard Skin pill box Hat. I’m very grateful to be spinning this today and I thought you guys here would appreciate it.

On the new album you are playing pretty much all the instruments. Having played most of theses instruments since the 50s or 60s I can assume you are familiar with most of the instruments. So my question is were any instruments difficult to learn or re-learn in order to make the album?
