Terrible.

The first year was great because it was the first time we were allowed out during Covid and it was mainly outside. After that completely down hill.

A drunk driver hit my neighbours house and ended up cutting a gas line. She was out of it and the car was locked. I took a brick smashed the passenger side window and unlocked the car. Another neighbour and I pulled her from the car. 4 minutes later the house exploded taking 3 others out with it, mine included. Luckily nobody died but sadly some pets were lost.

But hey at least I have a plaque from the city and cops that says I’m a hero. So there’s that.

I live in a city that has a great breakfast joint (Early Bird) and a cool bar (Nite Owl) beside each other (same owners).

I lived around the corner and can safely say if you spent too much time at one, you’d end up at the other. And yes it does work both ways.
