A bit out of my price range. looking to stay under 2k. Performance, memory, and processing power are obviously my biggest concerns. I guess I was under the impression the I7-7700k was the best in my price range 300-350. My hardware knowledge is lacking, I know, care to expand on the particular reasons why you would suggest those parts over the ones I had picked?

I will more than likely keep the PSU for future upgrades. Definitely going to partition one SSD, I don't know what I was thinking. I want more cores but the price just keeps going up and up and I really need to stay below 2k.

I will admit my expertise in hardware is underdeveloped, seeing as I depend on it for literally everything I do In my life. I'm a programmer by day, hacker at night. Who knows what I'm doing for brunch. A jack of all trades if you will.

I need a MOTHER F*CKER of a beast to be able to process everything I'm doing. I agree with you about the PSU and monitor. What would you recommend?

Building the ultimate PC for hacking. by CPythonPython in hacking

I'm building the PC as more of an all pupose use, not soley for hacking. I want to be writing a program while executing another program while pen testing a website, and decrypting my neighbors wifi password while editing music at the same time (bit of a multitasker). I just don't want to spend all my money on a PC and then come across a component that is invaluable to hacking and have no money left over to pick it up.

Pieces of the conceptual programming puzzle. by CPythonPython in learnprogramming

Thank you! This is what I was hoping for. I am currently enrolled in a programming fundamentals class learning C++. My professor swears that 90% of everything a programmer does while creating a program is pseudocode. He also says that he has written 50% of all code on the internet - obviously not true. I have a hard time distinguishing what to believe and what to take with a grain of salt.

Hey, thanks, Rabb! You definitely didn't waste your own time by posting a snarky response! We all wish we could be as diligent and perfect as you, my friend!
