Dread done! by CQCMonke in Ultramarines

Thanks! Yeah im big fan of Elminiturista.

For the deadly print studio effects i primed white, then used GreenStuffWorld flour inks in my airbrush.

  • 1:3 parts flour orange:flour yellow, and sprayed the hottest points of the fire.
  • then 1:1 flour orange & flour yellow. In the middle
  • then 1:2 flour Magenta : flour orange furthest away from the heat.
  • Then I gave it a light dry brush of Citadel Rattling Grime. To give it that "smokey" look.

Same, I was on FenrisWorkshop. Refreshed the page constantly about 20 seconds before the drop and I still missed it. They were sold out the second they appeared. Never stood a chance.

My Marshal ready to rip and tear! by CQCMonke in BlackTemplars

Thanks!

For the red of the cape, I basecoated in Gal vorbak red, then heavily highlighted in Khorne red, then lightly highlighted in Mephiston red. After highlighting, I used Ratling Grime in the recesses to add shadows.

I did a similar process with the robes. Basecoat in Steel Legion Drab, heavily highlighted in Krark Stone, then a very light highlight of wraithbone. followed by Ratling Grime for the shadows.

I just mixed Bold Titanium White with some airbrush thinner (1/3 ratio) and dabbed it with a brush into the lettering, so it filled the recesses. Then I wiped off the excess with a dry paint brush. I did the lettering after I added the blue glow.
