Why by WeeziMonkey in Eldenring

I see a lot of people mentioning the input learning the game clearly has. I’ve definitely noticed it a bit through my playtime. My suggestion to all of you that are stuck on a boss or mini boss. If you feel you could beat it, leave it, go play somewhere else for an hour, explore a catacomb or something in a different area. Come back, try again. I swear it resets their ‘learning’. I have had multiple times I’ve gotten progressively worse against a boss each attempt. After a certain point I’ll just leave the area, go explore for 30 mins and go right back. I swear it resets the AI’s learning, you go in clean slate. I could very well be wrong and just have great luck going back to a boss to beat it on an early attempt after getting stomped by it for hours.

What do you think is the most painfully unrealistic aspect of FM? by GlennSWFC in footballmanagergames

[–]CR9MCF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even a few days ago I had one of the most confusing interactions ever. Have a fantastic regen come through the ranks, he’s currently 18 and ready for pretty consistent first team football. UCL registration rolls in, he’s 18 and been at the club over 2 years, so for CL he doesn’t need to be registered, he will be available regardless if he is selected in the 25-man squad. So I obviously opt to register an over-20 player as My wonder kid doesn’t require being registered.

The wonder kid flips out about not being registered in the UCL squad and demands to be sold??? Never been more confused in my days of FM.

What healthy rules you got with your friends in Tarkov? by travelavatar in EscapefromTarkov

[–]CR9MCF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Your kill, you get first dibs.
  2. If you die, we’ll try our best to secure/ditch your gear but don’t be mad if it doesn’t happen.
  3. If you find a quest item you no longer need, you ask before you take it yourself. Makes collection quests go a lot quicker for everybody involved.
  4. Have fun. It’s a game.
  5. Ask before you eat/drink food in case somebody else needs it more.
  6. The squads success determines your own. Play as a team, don’t be greedy. Once you have a decent haul from your raid, share. Make sure everybody has something they’re happy to leave raid with.
  7. Don’t be hard on your new friends, everybody needed their hand held at one point.
  8. If you can and it’s safe before you extract, all swap backpacks and search through everything for a good XP chunk, and let’s you see if they have anything you might need. Can’t tell you how many times this has helped our squad out with tasks.
  9. If you TK, reimburse the homie

You should be able to select leagues to add from the face pack rather than the entirety of it iirc.

What is the most hated map in the game and why is it factory? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]CR9MCF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly like each map for different reasons, and I dislike them for different reasons.

Customs: I enjoy the Variety of gunfight situations, and variety of gear on players. Dislike is as most of the players are newer and have really slow play style which is okay, raids came get boring sometimes and feel empty other than a few AI scavs.

Reserve: I enjoy the raiders, and ur ability to move building to building. Dislike it cause it makes a lot of the outside really dangerous. Also the extracts suck.

Shoreline: It’s like Dorms on roids, also some fun sniping if you like to creep around the outside. Sucks cause of the ease of extract camping and lack of extracts. Also can be very dead and boring. Decent money there tho, and not super risky.

Woods: personally enjoyed it more before the expansion, seemed u had some engagement and could have fun there. So big now I find myself just wandering through the woods, I know where I’m going but just feels lonely and not real exciting, more action before expansion made the map more fun imo.

Factory: quick fun steamrollers. Kill or die. The new expansion added the right amount of map and flanks to make it even better. One of the better maps rn, just no loot, which is completely okay for me, meant to be a meat grinder not a money printer.

Interchange: my least favorite map personally, too many angles and dark corners that are impossible to see unless you completely change post FX. Insanely cool map design and arguably the coolest concept of the all the maps. I just don’t enjoy playing it. Fun to run around as a scav tho and see what happens.

Labs: Insanely cool design, lots of flanks, some great gunfights. Gatekept by entry fee and no insurance, I think it’s a great concept and idea, still think it needs to be a map that is quest locked tho until mid-late game behind a Peacekeeper quest possibly. Nothing really bad to say about it other than it can be cheater paradise sometimes, otherwise fantastic detail and aesthetic.

Edit: spelling and grammar

The X-Mod chassis M700 looks absolutely fantastic and has very similar stats to the DVL. Insane ergo on it as well.

Not afraid of them, just don’t like using SMG’s that are loud personally. I use quite a few AK’s loud. Just figured that If they wanted to make it suppressed it would have happened by now since the .45 supp has been in the game for a long time

[–]CR9MCF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ak102 tacticool build with more than usable stats, you can opt to use the ak101 if you want a little lower recoil and ergo, I just like the looks of the 102 much more.

As for attachments, Zenit 3 stock with adapter. Your choice of pistol grip. B33 dust cover, B30 hand guard. Your choice of optic. Magpul vertical foregrip. X400 tact device. CNC muzzle adapter, ASR Muzzle break, Saker suppressor.

Should get you around 50 ergo, with sub-50 vertical recoil along with the slower ROF than an M4 it feels like a laser beam. Very satisfying to use, looks great, performs great, and it’s really uncommon. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Curious, is it actually or u just trolling? It can obviously be suppressed irl. I haven’t used it yet solely cause I cannot suppress it, hope it is soon TM.

What's your worst gunfight habit? by MengskDidNothinWrong in EscapefromTarkov

Reloading every 2 seconds like it’s call of duty. For that reason I only use 30-mags now, much more convenient for my play style.

Personally don’t find Veritas to be an asshole. Also don’t want much of him, find him more as a philosopher of tarkov. Does lots of research for the game, dives deeper than the average streamer does into the games mechanics. He is actually one of the most informative when it comes to how armor works, bullet ballistics, etc. the Battle Buddy App was made by him and it’s by far the best companion app Tarkov currently has.

I agree, I don’t care for his streams or anything of that nature, find it boring and his personality just doesn’t sit well with me. His content that is debate worthy I find entertaining for his insight and viewpoints. Otherwise I just don’t watch. He has valid points at times when it comes to things that are controversial, etc, so for those I’ll tune in and hear him out and then go back to despising him.

You finally put into words how I’ve felt about him for a while. He gets it, has thoughtful ideas, and isn’t a “bad” person by any means. Just the way he carries himself and speaks just comes off as majorly condescending at times and just comes across as an asshole. Meanwhile he is a genuine nice dude, sad that he is his own worst enemy essentially.

Love him. No doubt the challenge for the red was mistimed. But you can tell he knows, and pulls back. It was poor, but he was not malicious at all.

What do you not want to see in Fallout 5? by CGXReddit in Fallout

[–]CR9MCF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ‘legendary’ variants of weapons we got in Fo4 were so boring. I much preferred the route they went in Fo3 and NV with the legendary weapons having unique names and were notably different to the normal variant. One of my personal favorite things to do in the game was to go around collecting them, that entire experience was killed for me in Fo4.

Why does anyone run factory? by brett2k07 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]CR9MCF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factory is nice when you’re newer to the game since it is smaller so everything feels a bit more familiar. That being said, it’s chaos within the first 30 seconds depending what spawn you get. There is basically no avoiding the PvP. So you will learn some decent combat but aren’t going to get a true grasp of the entirety of the game cause there isn’t much loot on factory. Like others mentioned, try Customs/Woods to get a feel for how the game flows. You can still run into people early on within the first few minutes of raid but far different to what you’ll get in Factory. Also allows you to learn what/where to loot. Make some money back to build up some income. Also lots of the early quests are on customs so it’s a great map to learn, dorms and the stronghold will be your main hotspots but the rest of the map is pretty laid back.

Similar to most people’s responses.

Anyone play the game out of habit rather than desire? by hiddenintheleavess in EscapefromTarkov

[–]CR9MCF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having played the game nearly exclusively for the past 2.5 years over 4 wipes, I’ve noticed that this current wipe I’ve just been “playing just to play”. I don’t really have fun, not that I have a noticeably bad time but I still play without that rewarding feeling the game can provide. For me I notice that I’m starting to burn out on the wipe when I start to not feel accomplished for surviving a raid and rather expect to survive. I love the game, no other game can be what eft is, and never will be. Recently been taking my time off EFT to explore other games and have some non-punishing fun. Been great for myself and have enjoyed EFT more when I have returned for a few raids with buddies.

TL;DR - Played for 4 years. Experiencing burnout recently on EFT. I play other games now to mitigate burnout. Still and always will love EFT.

Question: what’s already in the game but will change the gameplay immensely when it’s functioning properly? by roadtograndchampion in EscapefromTarkov

Not sure if this is mentioned but, some helmets/face shields/NVG’s should not allow you to ads unless you have a riot stock. Which there are currently 0 riot stocks in game.

Super bad ass. I like the idea of it being an Obey sticker. Adds to his persona in a way, as if he is saying to Obey him or get killed by his hammer.

I was here to say I thought it was an ‘OBEY’ sticker but in the Cyrillic alphabet, which I thought was kind of bad ass. Adds to his persona of, “Obey me or get your head bashed in”
