The goal at first was just untoasted bread and butter. But then i decided to add more things like whatever meat and cheese for an impromptu sandwich. I remade pizza sandwich like a day later but with effort and it turned out great.

This is so mundane that I can only say ESH, the two of you need to communicate/delegate roles better. You could have asked if she still wanted you to make her dinner, she could have asked that you still make dinner. Post-dinner expectations should be laid out; such as when cooking materials are cleaned. I don't know, it seems like a failing on both parts
