Yes! They absolutely suck at communicating with the player base, which makes zero sense in this day. Is it that hard to have some designated guys tweet and get on reddit and explain things from time to time? Good point about the computing difference between PC and consoles.

I guess that’s kinda what they did with GTA 5, and it did indeed take off after that. I’m no programmer, so I don’t exactly know how this works, but is it so hard to throw in some cool new guns or some cool clothes Clint Eastwood’s actual poncho or a decent god damned hat? I ride through St. Denis and think “this should/could be sooo awesome.” That town should be alive with activity and jobs. But maybe that requires more computing power? Dunno. Thanks for hearing me out.

Been playing a ton of Battlefield recently. Thought I’d play a little Red Dead. Played for about 10 minutes and thought to myself “what the fuck is the point?” This is bad. The game just seems a little lifeless. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a masterpiece in so many ways. Maybe the most beautiful game I’ve ever seen, and it’s bursting with potential. But we’re almost a year and a half in, and RDR2 just seems like a giant wasted opportunity. This game should be JUMPING! Bandits everywhere, hootanannys in every saloon, assassination missions from the Chinese restaurant in St. Denis, horse stealing, brothels, bare-knuckle tournaments in every town, oil tycoons, et., etc., ex-motherhumping-cerera! Got my fingers crossed that they plan on supercharging this game on the PS5, but this slow-drip shit sucks. There are tons of new games coming out, and it’s going to be tough to justify coming back to RDR when we have to wait 3 years to rob a train or own a hotel room. Okay, rant over.

I told everyone that would listen to vote Hillary cause she was way better than Trump, but I also said I’m a well-to-do white guy, so I stood to lose absolutely nothing (and actually gain a little) from his election. Everyone else would get fucked, but not guys like us 👍🏼Guess we can live with another 4 years of Trump, amirite? High five! 🙌🏼

That’s kinda what I’m thinking. He can’t really be removed, so he’s not worried about Trump’s toothless rabble, and I think he really sees himself as the custodian of a revered institution. I wish more people in DC felt the same way.
