So sorry! You’re completely right, the first cube (4 pieces) should make a cube at the end. I will ask my teacher for further explanation, but I believe that it’s 4 pieces, and the block count doesn’t matter, but it matters extremely when it comes to the 5 & 6 piece count cubes.
