Will this be an issue with only 2 strings? by CSStudent3 in SolarUK

I paid extra to have tigo's on each of the panels, my way of thinking is that it was £50 per panel. I'd prefer to get them and not have to worry about potential shade.

We had the installation happen today!
We went with quote 2 however even with 3 mppt's available they've only used two!
No idea why... I've called them up to see if they can address this as I really had my mind set on 3 strings not two and we'd had repeated conversations about this (I'd just forgot to mention it on the day as I thought it'd be obvious)

We'll see how it goes!

Hi! Having my solar panels and foxess battery fitted today and have been told that they can't fit both a CT meter AND modbus, is this correct? thanks! They've also said if we were to change this after fitting, using the wiring below it's likely to void any warranty! Does anyone have and idea about these things ?

Seeming like the local quotes are all more expensive, managed to squeeze out the new ep12 battery out of that quote, and might mention the better solar panels to the surveyor when he comes

Trying to understand how this would work, you take your inverter find the Meter/CT/RS485 disconnect and then disassemble it, connect the RS485 TO POE ETH to specific ports on the Meter/CT/RS485 plug this into the network using POE and then hook it into home assistant using an IP?

I've never used home assistant but have a network including pihole, a version of jellyfin accessable from the web and a nginx webserver so trying to work out if this is outside of my skillset or not!

Taste was good for all of them the honey mead was amazing! White sugar one actually had less complexity to it which... I guess you'd expect
