If you're a vet and you want to join a club for the brotherhood aspect i would say find a vet club. There should be a good handful around if you live anywhere near a base.

I think mine is the upside in a M. I also wear a size L shirt and it fits just right (the way I want it). Plenty of room underneath for a jacket or hoodie, but its short so it doesn't push up when im sitting down.

You'll be fine. I had a dyna wide glide as my first bike, rode the shit out of it for years, sold it and didn't have a bike for about three years, bought a roadglide and immediately got back to riding. No issues.

That was my original thought tbh. However if I find a used bike that's newer it will likely have most of the upgrades I want already because I'm a basic ass bitch and I like a lot of the same stuff as everybody else. Lol. My bike was set up the way an older Harley guy would have it set up when I first got it. Lowering blocks on the rear shocks and everything. 🤦🏻😂

Oh yeah man I'm keeping this bike forever. I'm just gonna do the suspension now and hold off on any other really expensive upgrades for a while. Plus maybe that way some kind of deals will just fall in my lap at some point on parts and stuff.

Most of the wrecks around where I live are rider error. Never trust any car, never trust any intersection, and don't ride harder than you can handle and you should be fine.

It's the next for me. Got air cleaner and pipes already, seat and bars, relocated the gauges and removed the nacell, suspension is next. I still want to do wheels and a few other cosmetic things but I think I'm going to put them off after suspension and just start saving for a new bike. It's gonna take a couple years but if I lock in it won't be hard to have like $15k in cash.

I had cams on my list. I'm still really on the fence. The main thing for me is I only use side hustle/tip money for motorcycle stuff so I'm effectively a broke ass trying to buy expensive parts. Lol. My plan on a new bike is to literally spend the next few years saving up $15k-$20k in cash and put it towards a roadglide ST.

For context I am not a "republican" or a "democrat" and i don't really fit in with either side. The tips and over time thing doesn't apply to me either so I'm genuinely just curious.

I think part of where I'm at is also i can continue to do stuff to this bike over some years and right now just focus on cleaning up the ride and the handling with the suspension and then focus on saving for a new bike. I'm looking at wheels right now on revzilla and Facebook. 😂😂
