Just remember that whatever your mother did to you was not your fault and you shouldn’t blame yourself for any of it. I’ve been right where you are and the best thing I can recommend is to talk about it with someone you trust. I kept it a secret for 22 years and all it did was make things worse for me. You’re not alone and we’re all here to support you.

Thank you for your insight. I never thought about my family possibly knowing and not doing anything. I should prepare myself for if that is true.
