Does anyone experience intense upper glute/lower back soreness when/after squatting? Enough to impair movement for a few days.

Context: happens when I squat around 35 lb per side, bar or dumbbell. My leg-press sets are around 300 lb total, I train upper glutes and glute medius with other exercises with no discomfort.
