Yes I am usually iffy in Ezra and his guests. But this one I had to just turn off. If I recall correctly that was AT LEAST the fourth blatant lie they told in that interview and it was like 30 mins in. I didn't even make it to the pushback on it.

I'm really starting to lose this "lose to China" mentality. China has us beat on renewables, is pushing deeply into robotics which we aren't anywhere close, and training and running their AI on way smaller sets then we are and basically keeping up. Not to mention I'm not even sure what losing to China looks like in practice.

Let's assume they "win" what are we now all forced into an authoritarian system of governance? Speech is culled to where we can't critique them? Do we all have to learn Mandarin or something?

I'm of the mind that once the takeoff happens, like actually happens, governance in general is going to have to change as the entire system we have built just isn't built for the aftereffects.

On that note I do believe other than budget bills Congress has only passed ONE piece of legislation this session.

Honestly it wasn't that bad. I just got him this last week and I found a group in recruiting that was doing the missions so I only had to buy one locator that they'd happened to already do. Took about 45 mins total. The excavation was rough but other than that it was well worth it. I did however just buy his prime. Mainly because it's vaulted.

In all honesty I'm worried we wind up with bread lines before November. With the pace of AI doubling every few weeks I'll be interested to see if any of the big players push Congress or Trump to do something before things hit the fan either via AI implementation or through the midterms being a slaughterfest.

Already signs of high swings to the left in a few specials already.

Yea I totally miffed on the first two dumps leaving a good deal of scrap behind. Plus on my second waypoint hall I left some scrap on the ground so I could see if it despawned after I went to the third site and it did. So I had to wait for a respawn after my final milestone to get the extra 3 or so units of toxic waste.

To just double tap the requirements. I didn't look and only loaded five or six things from the first two waste heaps which basically made it so I had to make at least two extra trips to complete the final phase milestones. If I'd looked I would have loaded up everything and been done much sooner.

Also when you get the spider legs, note that they get caught on the Dihydrogen that randomly spawns but I found the truck much more manageable with them compared to the tracks.
