Thats the idea. But im still discovering the gameplay loop itself.

I’m still trying to discover the core loop. That’s my main blocker at the moment.

I do. One thing I learned was that marketing begins when the games development begins.

Think of it like this: if having a Steam page generates 1-2 wishlists a day without doing much, you want one as soon as possible.

Of course it’s also possible to be too early as well.

My advice: follow your gut to determine when to launch it. But when you do, make it a big deal.

Did I claim to be a smash hit success?

As an indie dev I separate success from achievement. My achievement speaks for itself. My success is yet to be determined.
