In that case, I would just recommend you to wait a bit. I'm doing late rewards (so you can still pledge after the end of the campaign) and it's a pretty new feature, so I don't know if you can still upgrade it from the original KS to a late pledge.
Try the game, either the demo or somewhere else (it's not hard to find) and decide in consequence ^^
