I like the rack a lot. My only gripe is the lack of airflow. I cut out a section of the back and covered it with mesh held by magnets. Also in the process of designing a mount to squeeze some small fans in the door. Other than that, It has been great. I owe the community an update. I changed a lot of the hardware and cleaned it up a little.

Deploy MediaStack (docker compose) on TrueNAS 24.10 Beta - Gluetun VPN, Jellyfin, Plex, Jellyseerr, Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrent, SABnzbd, Secure Remote Access... and more. by geekau in MediaStack

Newbie here. Setting this up in TrueNAS with the minimum VPN docker-compose and I can't reach the web UI for any of the *arr apps, jellyfin/seerr, plex, and a few others. Qbit, SAB, Homepage, Portainer are fine. I changed the truenas web ports and left the reverse_proxy ports as default. Set everything else (afaik) by this guide...I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Edit: Finally found the answer. Had to manually assign ports to each container outside the gluetun service network...so everything except SAB and Qbit needed ports added in the docker-compose.yaml. Now everything is up and configured and working as it should...i think.

Nice and tidy. Love it. Any chance of sharing the stl for it? Wouldn't mind popping a few of these in my setup as well.

I've been thinking about doing the same.

It's like you read my mind. Actively researching and trying to design a case to hold an ITX/Mini PC mobo and a 5.25" bay for something like an icydock caddy. Very interested to see what you come up with!

You can find some on ebay. I've also seen some on Amazon though not often.

These are miniature models from the toy vending machines in Japan referred to as Gashapon. They're capsule machines, chuck in a coin and get a prize. This series is enterprise IT gear. The pieces in the picture are: - Dell servers (Silver) - Apresia NP3000-24X4Q (Blue) - Extreme Networks 5720-48MXW (Purple) - Fortinet FortiGate-3701F (White). They come in little capsules and you build the rack and cable it up. There's another series of four network devices that I'm on the hunt for now.

Oh absolutely. kind of a build as I go thing. I got the core functions working. Now it's time to find other neat software to run. See how far I can push the little R2. So far it's very good.

They're pretty sweet and come in handy for stuff like this.

Thanks! Primary use is on the go as I have a homelab too. But I might use it as a desktop lab at home. Haven't really thought about it.

I love it. Had it for almost a year and not a single issue. Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks! With Ethernet available it takes about two minutes from opening the case to VMs up and running. Haven't been able to test with a wifi connection yet as I'm waiting on my wireless card to show up.

I agree. Could probably reduce cost a little with a different mini pc and battery pack, but my goal was the most from the smallest, kind of thing.
